247 Gard Security is seeking energetic and vigilant Security Guards (Events) to ensure the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property during various events. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring event venues, controlling access points, and maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and prompt response to incidents. Your dedication will help create a safe, enjoyable experience for all participants while upholding the highest standards of security professionalism.

Duties

- Manage access control by verifying tickets, credentials, and identification for event attendees, staff, and vendors
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the venue and identify potential security risks
- Perform regular patrols of the event site to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry
- Respond swiftly to emergencies or disturbances, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
- Enforce venue policies and safety regulations to ensure compliance among all guests and personnel
- Document incidents accurately through detailed reports and logs for future review and action
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by monitoring for suspicious behavior and preventing theft or damage

Experience

- Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is highly desirable
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and monitoring procedures
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and crowd management strategies




- Ability to remain calm under pressure while responding effectively to various situations
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail during visual inspections and surveillance activities
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members, event staff, and emergency responders
- Certifications in security operations or law enforcement are a plus but not mandatory

Qualifications
- Must have valid Security guard license
- Must be available to start from August 07
- Driver's license is an asset.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
