Our Vancouver firm is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. Encompass CPA is a Vancouver based public practice accounting firm that focuses on delivering exceptional tax and accounting services to owner managed businesses. We are located at 234 West 3rd Avenue in Vancouver. Our growing firm currently is a team of 14 and focuses on delivering exceptional tax and accounting services to owner managed businesses.

Responsibilities:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing Compilation and Review engagements independently
- Preparing tax compliance including corporate and personal tax returns, T4/T5 returns, and trust returns
- Creating an fostering meaningful relationships with clients
- Working directly with team members and clients on solving issues that arise in their business
Skills and Requirements:
- A CPA designation
- Strong technical accounting and tax skills with a minimum of 3 years in a public accounting firm setting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain and foster relationships with clients
- Excellent computer skills, experience in Caseware and Taxprep is an asset
