As a Senior Administrative Support Clerk, you will directly contribute to the operational efficiency of the Life and Disability Claims sector by ensuring the smooth execution of administrative activities and supporting your colleagues in an environment where workloads are high and deadlines are critical.

What You Will Accomplish with Us
As a Senior Administrative Support Clerk, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your key responsibilities will include:
Opening, processing, and closing short-term and long-term disability claim files in accordance with established procedures.
Scanning, filing, and tracking documents related to the Life Insurance and Disability sectors, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of records.
Performing various administrative and financial transactions, including setting up direct deposits, processing invoices, cashing cheques, and managing issued payments.
Managing departmental inboxes, as well as processing and distributing mail and special deliveries.
Participating in the resolution of more complex situations and contributing to continuous improvement, innovation, and process optimization initiatives.
What Could Help You Succeed in This Role
We're looking for someone who:
Holds a relevant post-secondary diploma or has a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a structured administrative or operational environment, ideally within the insurance, financial services, or complex administrative services sectors.
Is recognized for their accuracy, attention to detail, and reliability.
Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage priorities and meet deadlines.
Possesses excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
Is client-focused and solution-oriented.
Demonstrates autonomy, sound judgment, and confidence in handling complex or ambiguous situations.
Has an excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
Has an intermediate knowledge of English, as the incumbent will communicate daily with English-speaking clients and partners across Canada through emails and phone calls.
