The Role

We are looking for a Senior Ad Operations Specialist to join our team in Toronto. You will be responsible for managing the trafficking, delivery/pacing, optimizations, and reporting of digital ad campaigns for multiple publisher clients within a team environment. You will work with the ad ops team members and cross functional groups to address and resolve all ad ops issues in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and manage the execution and technical aspects of campaigns, including ad serving, delivery/pacing, trafficking, optimization, troubleshooting, etc.
- QA campaign flighting, setup, and launches.
- QA various tags provided by clients.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to campaign assets, tags, and pixels for both clients and internal teams.
- Troubleshoot ad-serving errors such as reporting discrepancies and broken creatives.




- Provide high-level monitoring and reporting requested by clients in a timely manner.
- Monitor campaign performance against key KPIs such as CTR, VCR, viewability, and conversion rates on a daily basis.
- Manage campaign pacing and make adjustments as needed to ensure campaign budgets are delivered in full.
- Provide management reports on key campaign statistics, including performance and pacing.
- Identify new optimization opportunities and recommend processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with Sales and Account Managers to service accounts efficiently.
- Work closely with Account Managers and coordinate daily to ensure smooth campaign launches and day-to-day ad operations.
- Interact daily with clients’ and agencies’ ad operations teams to address technical and ad operations inquiries.
- Escalate potential technical issues affecting campaigns and/or Cluep infrastructure from an operations perspective.
- Proactively analyze and improve processes to increase efficiency.
- Implement, document, and enforce QA checklists.
- Coordinate regularly with the Engineering team to request and test new features for Cluep’s mobile advertising platform and internal admin dashboard.
- Analyze ongoing activity across current campaigns and brands.
- Stay current on industry news, trends, and research.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- 3–5 years of experience in an Ad Operations or Technical Account Manager role within the digital/mobile advertising industry; programmatic experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of technical advertising standards and technologies, including JavaScript tags, rich media, OpenRTB (oRTB), OMSDK, ad serving, SSPs, DSPs, DMPs,



etc.
- Good understanding of web technologies and standards, including HTML, JavaScript, and JSON.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including VLOOKUPs, filters, and pivot tables.
- Good understanding of Google Analytics, DCM, DV, MOAT, and other third-party marketing and measurement tools.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and resourceful.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and manage projects of varying scope and complexity (e.g., Sales, Product, etc.).
- Comfortable working in a fast-changing startup environment.

At Cluep, we are committed to transparent and fair compensation practices. The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$105,000 CAD . Individual compensation is determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and the responsibilities of the position.
