On behalf of our client, an employee-owned construction solutions partner with 100 years behind them and a coast-to-coast reputation for excellence, Parker Huggett is searching for a Senior Civil Estimator to price complex municipal infrastructure across both the water/wastewater and transit spaces.

About You

You know that a strong project is built long before the deadline; in the takeoffs, the constructability review, value engineering, conditions, the other conversations and considerations that some rush through.

The successful candidate will have the following:

- You’ve priced complex civil in the municipal arena. Water and wastewater treatment, pump/lift stations, transit works – the kind of builds where civil, structural, and mechanical scopes collide and the risk lives in the interfaces
- You’re not a one-trick pony. You want a mix of project types on your desk, not the same ones on repeat. Variety keeps you sharp and keeps you interested
- You think like a builder, not just a calculator. You understand sequencing, temporary works, constructability, and you know how to visualize a plan turning into cost on site
- You own the number. You take accountability for the estimate, work closely with operations and preconstruction,



and can stand behind your assumptions when it matters
- You’re curious and collaborative. You build trust with owners, engineers, and partners, and you’re always sharpening how you approach a pursuit

About the Job As Senior Civil Estimator, you’ll lead pricing on some of the GTA’s most technically demanding municipal infrastructure – spanning water/wastewater treatment facilities and major transit projects.

- Real breadth. Move between water/wastewater and transit pursuits so you stay involved in a range of work rather than a single lane
- Complex, high-value builds. Price sophisticated infrastructure that communities actually depend on, with a firm delivering a large pipeline of meaningful projects

Competitive compensation: Salary ranging between $140,000 to $165,000
