As a Senior Companion / Everyday Support Helper, you'll assist older adults with non-medical daily tasks, companionship, errands, meal preparation, and everyday activities that make life easier and more enjoyable.

Whether you're a student, retiree, caregiver, hospitality professional, or simply someone who enjoys helping others, you can choose opportunities that fit your schedule.

Typical Responsibilities

- Spend quality time with seniors through friendly visits and conversation
- Assist with grocery shopping and everyday errands
- Prepare simple meals or help with meal preparation
- Accompany clients on walks or recreational outings
- Provide transportation accompaniment to appointments (when requested)
- Help organize the home and assist with light household tasks
- Assist with technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, or video calls
- Pick up prescriptions or household essentials (when requested)
- Help seniors stay connected with family and friends
- Provide reliable, compassionate support while respecting each client's independence

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Friendly, compassionate, and patient
- Comfortable interacting with seniors and providing companionship
- Dependable, trustworthy, and professional
- Robust communication skills
- Able to perform light everyday tasks and errands
- Previous experience working with seniors, caregiving, customer service, hospitality, volunteering, healthcare, or community support is an asset but not required

Compensation Pay varies depending on the type of assistance requested and the duration of each visit. Many opportunities offer earnings between $20 and $80+ per hour.
