Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team supporting large-scale industrial projects. This position offers the chance to lead electrical engineering deliverables from concept through commissioning, collaborate with diverse technical teams, and provide mentorship to developing engineers.

A typical day

- Lead electrical engineering activities for assigned projects and project scopes
- Develop, review, and approve electrical engineering deliverables and technical documentation
- Coordinate electrical design activities with process, mechanical, instrumentation, piping, and automation teams




- Support procurement activities through requisition preparation, vendor reviews, and technical bid evaluations
- Identify technical risks, resolve engineering issues, and support project change management processes
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers and designers

Requirements

- Hold an accredited Electrical Engineering degree and P.Eng. designation or eligibility for registration
- Demonstrate strong experience delivering electrical engineering work on industrial projects
- Apply expertise in low- and medium-voltage power distribution, motor control, protection systems, and VFDs
- Develop and review electrical deliverables including single-line diagrams, load lists, MCCs, cable schedules, grounding systems, and hazardous area layouts
- Understand procurement, construction, commissioning, and multidisciplinary project execution processes
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders while managing priorities in fast-paced project environments
