Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Estimator / Project Development Manager to identify, pursue, and secure large-scale projects that support the continued growth of our company.

Duties

- Identify and pursue public and private sector bidding opportunities.
- Prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates for large projects.
- Review tender documents, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Coordinate with operations to develop project plans, schedules, and pricing.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, municipalities, and utility companies.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client meetings as required.
- Negotiate contracts and assist with project handover to operations after award.
- Monitor industry trends and upcoming opportunities to maintain a solid project pipeline.

Qualifications

- Experience estimating and bidding large construction, utility, forestry,



or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of contract documents, specifications, and tendering processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bids while meeting strict deadlines.
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s licence.
