We are recruiting on behalf of a prominent publicly traded Canadian organization that is expanding through acquisitions and organic growth. The organization is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Senior Manager, Financial Reporting to join their growing finance team.

The role offers significant exposure to acquisition integration, IFRS conversions, system implementations, and process enhancements, providing a pathway for future career advancement.

Key responsibilities and oversight:

- Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS for a publicly traded company.
- Oversee and mentor a team of four finance professionals, including newly qualified CPAs.
- Manage the integration and consolidation of financial data following acquisitions, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
- Drive the transition from ASPE to IFRS standards, including systems upgrades and process improvements, various implementation projects.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely and compliant audit processes.
- Support and develop including maintain internal controls related to financial reporting.

The Company is offering a strong compensation package including an attractive base salary, and an annual performance bonus.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

- CPA designation with proven experience in public company financial reporting with a Minimum of two years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and experience with financial systems implementations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, capable of managing and developing a team.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment, supporting ongoing process improvements and various projects.
- Experience supporting acquisitions and integration projects is a plus.
- Knowledge of Canadian public markets and compliance requirements.
