Job Summary This organization is looking for a Senior Relationship Manager to join their Contingent Workforce Program team initially on a 12-month contract basis. Reporting directly to the Director, Contingent Workforce Program, this individual will play a pivotal role in managing and strengthening relationships with key Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and a network of current and potential staffing suppliers.
As a member of a team-oriented team of five, this role sits at the intersection of business strategy, workforce planning, and supplier performance — translating data and insights into clear, compelling narratives that drive program participation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Business Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary relationship partner for three priority SBUs, while maintaining engagement across all seven Strategic Business Units
- Conduct monthly touchpoints with individual business leaders at the Sr. Director and VP level to understand workforce priorities, upcoming hiring demand, and contractor utilization trends
- Listen to and document SBU Strategic Workforce Plans, translating hiring demand signals into actionable intelligence for our supplier network
- Track and report on key business metrics including headcount trends, program spend, leave savings, rebate potential, and correct program usage
- Drive increased SBU participation in the program by clearly communicating the value of rebates and savings identified by the broader team
- Build and deliver executive-level PowerPoint summaries of findings and program performance for review by the Director prior to SVP-level reporting
Supplier Relationship Management
- Manage ongoing relationships with all current and potential staffing suppliers, serving as a key point of contact for program communications and performance feedback
- Facilitate quarterly supplier reviews in partnership with the Director and VP to assess performance and align on upcoming hiring demand
- Monitor and report on supplier KPIs including: First Time Quality of talent submissions, Adherence to Rate Cards and supplier markups, Time to Fill metrics, and Compliance with Program Guidelines including adherence to the competitive hiring process and non-solicitation of business outside the program
- Recommend rate card adjustments based on market findings, business feedback, and insights gathered in partnership with our MSP, Allegis
- Escalate and remediate instances of non-compliance with program guidelines, working directly with suppliers to resolve issues and prevent recurrence
Reporting & Insights
- Consolidate quantitative and qualitative data from both business and supplier relationships to build a cohesive program performance narrative
- Partner closely with the Director to prepare materials that clearly articulate program health, risks, and opportunities
- Support the broader team in connecting financial insights (e.g., rebate and savings data) to business outcomes and program strategy
Required Skills
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience in relationship management, contingent workforce, staffing, procurement, or a related field — 5 years
- Demonstrated ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders (Sr. Director and VP level) without direct authority, including the confidence to challenge partners constructively when needed — 5 years
- Strong communication and storytelling skills — able to synthesize complex data into clear, executive-ready narratives both verbally and in writing — 5 years
- Experience building PowerPoint presentations and executive summaries for senior audiences — 5 years
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships simultaneously, balancing competing priorities with professionalism and composure — 5 years
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to identify trends, flag risks, and recommend actionable improvements
- High degree of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive workforce and financial data
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Vendor Management Systems (VMS), with experience in Beeline considered an asset
- Solid understanding of contingent workforce programs, Managed Service Provider (MSP) models, or staffing industry dynamics considered an asset
- Excel knowledge — analyzing and generating reports
- HR background
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in relationship management, contingent workforce, staffing, procurement, or a related field
- Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans
- 401k Retirement Fund
Important Notes
- 2-round interview process conducted via MS Teams with the hiring Manager
- Regulatory credentials are not required upon start; candidate cannot begin while employment history verification is in progress
