Senior Software Engineer – Media Supply Chain

We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join an established media supply chain team as an individual contributor. This is a hands-on engineering role supporting production media workflows within a large-scale broadcast/streaming environment. The successful candidate will work as an embedded member of the client's team, helping maintain and support services that sit on top of an existing media fulfilment pipeline.

The role centres on maintaining and supporting media supply chain services, including brands and products currently running on the SDVI platform, alongside an in-house-developed video fulfilment pipeline. This is primarily maintenance and support work rather than greenfield development - you'll be keeping critical media processing services running smoothly and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

- Build, maintain,



and support backend services powering media processing and supply chain workflows
- Support and troubleshoot services running on the SDVI platform
- Work with media processing pipelines across audio, video, captioning, and image assets
- Contribute to workflows involving transcoding and ingest
- Collaborate as an embedded engineer within a wider media technology team

Required Skills & Experience
- Solid, senior-level experience in Python and Django
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL
- Demonstrable experience with media supply chain and media processing workflows (audio, video, captioning, images)
- Working understanding of transcoding and ingest processes

Nice to Have
- Direct experience with the SDVI platform / SDVI implementation engineering
