Duties

- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner
- Explain menu items and answer customer questions
- Check on guests throughout their meal and respond to requests
- Process payments accurately using the POS system
- Prepare and organize takeout orders
- Clear, clean, and reset tables
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Restock front-of-house supplies as needed
- Assist with washing dishes and utensils as needed
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment





Requirements

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems or similar technology is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced workplace
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and billing purposes
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Experience in food industry roles such as serving or kitchen support is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and revenue
