Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sheet Metal Apprentice to join our growing team. This paid apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in sheet metal fabrication, machining, and installation within a fast-paced manufacturing setting. As an apprentice, you will learn essential techniques such as blueprint reading, installation, welding, and assembly while gaining mechanical knowledge that will set the foundation for a successful career in sheet metal work.

Responsibilities:

- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to support the precise fabrication of sheet metal components.
- Operate hand tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal parts.




- Assist with welding operations under supervision, developing proficiency in multiple welding techniques and fabrication processes.
- Conduct quality inspections to verify ductwork and sheet metal assemblies meet project specifications, industry standards, and Code compliance.
- Support the installation, setup, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and mechanical equipment, including furnaces, air handling units, boilers, and fans.
- Contribute and assist in the assembly and fabrication processes by accurately fitting, fastening, and securing components according to design requirements.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment while adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently, ensuring quality workmanship and timely project completion.

Experience:

- No prior experience is required; however, candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in mechanical trades and construction.
- Basic math skills are required for performing measurements, calculations, and fabrication-related tasks.
- Familiarity with mechanical concepts, hand tools, blueprint reading, and quality inspection practices is beneficial but not required, as training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow workplace safety procedures and protocols are essential.
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to develop new skills in welding, fabrication, and assembly are critical for success in this apprenticeship program.
