Our team is growing, and Marcon Metalfab (www.marconmetal.com) is hiring a Shipping Associate to join our dynamic team based in Delta’s Tilbury Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily shipping and receiving operations while ensuring materials are handled accurately, safely, and efficiently. We are looking for a dependable team player with a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is committed to safety, takes pride in their work, and contributes to the efficient operation of our shipping department.

We are located in Tilbury Industrial Park in Delta BC, with four ways to get here – the Massey Tunnel, Alex Fraser Bridge, South Fraser Perimeter Rd., and Hwy 99.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with loading and unloading CNC equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized yard.
- Tagging and maintaining merchandise/materials.
- Sorting and stacking goods into specific zones.
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment, where safety is of the highest importance.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Ability to independently lift 50 – 100 lbs.
- Clear communication, written and spoken English.
- Ability to identify different steel shapes and correct sizes using a tape measure, Vernier caliper, and steel guidebook.
- Ability to work on your feet all day.
- Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment requiring multi-tasking and prioritizing.
- Ability to work independently and in conjunction with another team member.
- Forklift experience of more than 3 years is an asset.
- Ability to accurately locate, stage, and prepare materials for shipment.
- Combi-Lift experience is an asset.
- Ability to read, interpret, and verify materials listed on Bills of Lading (B.O.L.) to ensure accurate shipping and receiving.




- Steel industry or warehouse experience is an asset.
- Current Certified Flagger certification is considered a strong asset.
