Shop Assistant / Helper

SRS Conveyors is a leading provider of garment material handling equipment since 1962. Due to continued growth and expanding business, SRS Conveyors has an immediate opening for a Shop Assistant/Helper to join our team.

Job Summary

- Assembly of conveyor systems and related parts
- Working with hand/power tools (grinders, cutters, drills, etc.)
- Metal saw and lathe experience preferred

- Parts preparation
- General labour duties - housekeeping
- Deliveries/pick-ups using the company vehicle

- Assist/help installers

Requirements
- At least 1-year experience working with hand and power tools in an industrial environment
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 80 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver's license

- Attention to detail

- Ambitious

- Willing to learn
- Flexible work overtime/weekends when needed
- Ability and willingness to travel across Canada - All expenses paid

- Work safely and efficiently
- Ability to work with a minimal amount of supervision

Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
