The company has grown over the years and now logs approximately 500,000 m3 annually for our main customers Dunkley, Hampton and Sinclar. Summary

Ubleis Logging Ltd. is looking for a dependable and motivated Shop Labourer to join our maintenance team. This full-time, year-round position plays a key role in supporting the repair and upkeep of our logging equipment, pickup trucks, and trailers. The regular schedule is Monday to Friday, averaging 10-hour days, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.

Our office and shop are located in Fort St. James where this position is primarily focused, and our worksites are in the Fort St. James and Mackenzie operating areas.

Responsibilities

- Wash and clean logging equipment, pickups, and trailers
- Assist mechanics with repairs, maintenance, and inspections
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and yard
- Handle parts, tools, and inventory
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Perform general labour duties including lifting, sweeping,



and equipment servicing
- Support welding, fabrication, and maintenance projects as required
- Drive parts out to the worksites and assist Mechanics.
- Driving a pilot car for lowbed moves

Requirements

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and stay productive with minimal supervision
- Robust work ethic and positive attitude
- Physically capable of performing labour-intensive work
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Mechanical aptitude is an asset
- Shop Labourer experience
- Previous experience in forestry, trucking, heavy equipment is an asset.
- Must live in Fort St. James, B.C.
