Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Skilled Labourer to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be an essential contributor to various projects, performing hands-on tasks that support the successful completion of building, renovation, and repair activities. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help ensure safety, efficiency, and quality in every task you undertake.

Duties

- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, setting up work zones, and organizing materials
- Perform general construction tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and assembling structures or fixtures
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely and efficiently under supervision
- Support tradespeople by handing tools, supplies, and materials as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance




- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Requirements

- Proven experience as a labourer or in a similar hands-on role within construction or maintenance environments preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety procedures and willingness to adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and materials is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on job site location
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on diverse responsibilities as needed
