Are you passionate about social media, teen and young adult fashion, and creating engaging content? Plato's Closet Airdrie is looking for a creative, energetic Social Media Content Creator to help showcase our ever-changing inventory and connect with our local community online.

This role is perfect for someone who loves creating Instagram and Facebook content, stays on top of social media trends, and enjoys working in a fun, fast-paced retail environment.

About the Role

As our Social Media Content Creator, you'll be responsible for planning, creating, editing, and publishing engaging content across our Instagram and Facebook accounts every day. You'll capture photos and videos of new arrivals, style outfits, film Reels, create Stories, and help grow our online presence while driving customers into the store.

Responsibilities

- Create, edit, and publish daily content for Instagram and Facebook, including:
- Reels
- Stories
- Feed posts
- Photograph and film merchandise, outfit styling, and in-store content.
- Stay current on social media trends and incorporate them into content.
- Plan and maintain a consistent content calendar.
- Write engaging captions and select appropriate hashtags.
- Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages when required.
- Collaborate with store management on promotions, sales, and marketing campaigns.
- Maintain brand consistency across all social media platforms.
- Occasionally assist with in-store merchandising or special events to capture content.

Qualifications

- Experience creating content for Instagram and Facebook.
- Comfortable filming,



photographing, and editing videos using a smartphone and editing apps.
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, Stories, and current social media trends.
- Creative eye for photography, fashion, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Highly organized and able to work independently.
- Passion for fashion, resale, and sustainable shopping is an asset.
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar editing tools is preferred.

Schedule

- 25–30 hours per week
- Adaptable schedule split between working in store building content and remote editing and posting content
