Our client, a healthcare organization, is looking to hire a Sonographer in Prince George, BC

This position requires a Dual‑Trained Sonographer skilled in both General Ultrasound and Echocardiography. Working in a agile hospital environment, the Sonographer will perform high‑quality diagnostic imaging procedures to support accurate clinical assessments and patient care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, patient‑centered care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced clinical setting.

Pay Rate Range: Pay rate 52-60CAD/HR Depending on experience

Responsibilities:

- Perform high‑quality general ultrasound and echocardiography procedures in accordance with clinical standards.
- Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively, ensuring accurate image acquisition and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, cardiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to support timely diagnostic decisions.
- Maintain patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout the examination process.




- Ensure proper use of Cerner for documentation, workflow navigation, and accurate record entry.
- Follow all hospital policies, protocols, and professional guidelines

Requirements:

- Dual‑trained Sonographer proficient in General Ultrasound and Echocardiography.
- Experience working in acute care or hospital environments preferred.
- Cerner EMR experience is mandatory.
- Strong clinical judgement, communication, and patient care skills.

Ability to work efficiently in high‑demand diagnostic settings.
