We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional food service. As a key member of our restaurant management team, the Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality.

Responsibilities

- Assist in supervising kitchen staff to ensure efficient and smooth operations during service
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and quality standards
- Manage food handling procedures in compliance with safety regulations and best practices
- Support the development of menu items, recipes, and presentation standards
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety within the kitchen setting




- Lead by example in serving guests and maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Coordinate with restaurant management to meet operational goals and uphold hospitality excellence
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to promote professional growth and teamwork

Requirements

- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Extensive restaurant management experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure during busy hours
- Passion for culinary arts with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Experience with food serving standards and customer interaction is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
