Sr. Software Developer – CRM (MS Dynamics 365)
Description To support Ontario Government priorities under Bill 5, the resource may be partially assigned to related projects.
Responsibilities
- Translate requirements into tested CRM applications using Agile methodology.
- Develop programming specs, code, unit tests, and user stories.
- Design, configure, integrate, and customize Dynamics CRM.
- Implement workflows, business rules, forms, and views aligned with business processes.
- Ensure CRM integration with other systems, establish security measures, and optimize performance.
- Provide post-live support, defect resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with project team (BA, QA, Tech Lead) throughout SDLC.
- Support deployments via DevOps pipelines across test, staging, and production.
- Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and migrations.
- Comply with Ontario Government I⁢ directives, standards, and security practices.
Skills & Experience
- 7+ years programming/analysis with CRM software.
- 6+ years hands-on MS Dynamics 365 Case/Customer Management (design, config, customization, implementation).
- 5+ years cloud solution customization, workflows, CDS/DataVerse, APIs.
- 3+ years CRM architecture design in enterprise environments.
- 5+ years Power Automation, PowerApps/Power Pages, SharePoint integration.
- 3+ years PowerBI dashboards integrated with Dynamics.
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, middleware, gateways, GIS integration (Esri ArcGIS).
- Solid background in solution design, architecture documentation, and SDLC methodologies.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, relational databases, communication protocols.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Desirable Skills
- Internet-ready applications, RAD methodologies, IM principles.
- Middleware/gateway experience, product installation scripts.
- Knowledge of AODA standards.
- Ability to conduct design walkthroughs, provide documentation, and post-implementation support.
Knowledge Transfer
- Documentation and facilitation of knowledge transfer sessions to client staff.
Working Hours Onsite, 7.25 hours/day (Mon–Fri, 8:00–5:00 PM). Reachable via OPS collaboration tools. Services outside normal hours may be required without overtime entitlement.

- MS Dynamics 365 Case/Customer Management: 60%
- PowerBI, PowerApps, SharePoint, Integration: 30%
- Agile Delivery & General Skills: 10%
- 5 days onsite.
Must Have
- 6+ years MS Dynamics 365 Case/Customer Management (design, config, customization, implementation).
Nice to Have
- 5+ years PowerApps/Power Pages integration.
- 5+ years SharePoint integration.
