OAKBERRY Victoria is seeking an experienced, hands-on Store Manager to lead our busy Fort Street location and support operations at our upcoming Uptown Shopping Centre location.

This is not an office-only management position. The Store Manager will work alongside the team during service while taking ownership of staffing, scheduling, inventory, product availability, food safety, customer experience and day-to-day store performance.

The position will be based primarily at our Fort Street store at 801 Fort Street, with regular involvement at our Uptown location based on operational needs.

About the Role The Store Manager will be responsible for keeping the stores properly staffed, organized, prepared and operating to OAKBERRY standards.

We are looking for someone who takes genuine ownership of problems, follows through without repeated reminders and can remain calm and decisive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead daily store operations and work alongside the team during busy service periods
- Ensure every guest is acknowledged and served promptly, accurately and professionally
- Prepare and maintain employee schedules based on forecasted business needs
- Respond to employee call-outs and arrange replacement coverage
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, performance and completion of assigned responsibilities
- Train, coach and develop team members, including opening and closing shift leads
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels at both Victoria locations
- Complete regular inventory counts and maintain accurate ordering levels
- Monitor açaí inventory, thawing levels and anticipated product requirements
- Establish and maintain par levels for ingredients,



packaging and operating supplies
- Place and coordinate supplier orders while preventing shortages and unnecessary waste
- Receive, organize, label and rotate inventory using proper FIFO procedures
- Monitor food preparation, portioning, presentation and recipe consistency
- Maintain food-safety, sanitation and cleaning standards
- Complete and verify opening, closing and cash-handling procedures
- Monitor Square POS, pickup and delivery orders
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate serious issues when necessary
- Communicate operational updates, staffing concerns and inventory risks to ownership
- Support operations and training at both Fort Street and Uptown when required

What We’re Looking For
- Previous supervisory, assistant-manager or store-management experience in food service, cafés, quick service or a similar high-volume environment
- Demonstrated experience with employee scheduling and inventory ordering
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Highly reliable, punctual and accountable
- Able to set expectations and address performance concerns professionally
- Strong understanding of inventory rotation, product preparation and waste control
- Comfortable using POS, scheduling and inventory-tracking systems




- Able to work efficiently while maintaining attention to customers, cleanliness and detail
- Available for a combination of daytime, evening and weekend shifts
- Able to open and close the store when required
- Able to commute reliably to both Fort Street and Uptown Shopping Centre
- FOODSAFE Level 1 certification, or willingness to obtain it immediately
- Legally authorized to work in Canada

Position Details
- Permanent full time position
- Approximately 35–40 hours per week
- Pay: $21–$24 per hour, depending on relevant management experience
- Tips in addition to hourly pay
- Primarily based at 801 Fort Street, with responsibilities supporting our Uptown location
- Immediate training and start available
- 90-day performance review
- Opportunity to progress into a broader multi-location operations role
