Role Description The Student Internship is a full-time remote role designed for individuals seeking experience in early childhood education and child care administration. Interns may assist with planning educational activities, preparing learning materials, and supporting virtual engagement initiatives for children and families. Day-to-day tasks can include documenting observations, maintaining records, helping with curriculum planning, and participating in online meetings or training sessions with educators.

Interns will collaborate with supervisors and team members, follow established policies and procedures, and complete assigned projects within agreed timelines.



This role offers structured mentorship and opportunities to apply classroom knowledge in a professional child care setting.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a program in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Psychology, or a related field.

Strong interest in working with children and supporting family-centered care, with an understanding of basic child development principles.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with educators, families, and peers in a remote environment.

Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow instructions accurately.

Comfort with technology and remote collaboration tools (e.g., video conferencing, shared documents, email) and willingness to learn new systems.

Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality and privacy standards.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team, showing initiative and openness to feedback.

Any required clearances or checks for working with children, as applicable by local regulations, are considered an asset.
