QUALIFICATIONS

Supply staff work on a part-time, as-needed basis. You would provide your availability, and we would schedule shifts accordingly. At times, this may cover an entire week, while in other instances it may involve fewer shifts, depending on the program’s needs. In this role, you would be covering sick time and vacation time. We are seeking committed individuals who are able to perform both custodian duties and educator responsibilities, as needed, and can confidently step into either role.

SKILLS, ABILITY AND EXPERIENCE

· Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR

· Valid Police Records Check for Service with the Vulnerable Sector

· Up-to-date vaccinations

· Valid Work permit (If applicable)

· Experience working with young children in a group environment

· Oral and written fluency in English is required.

· High level of professionalism and tact

· Robust team communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

· Experience relating directly to parents/caregivers





· Experience with and sensitivity to all cultures and socio-economic groups

· Ability to be flexible with changes

· Promoting positive relationships in the work environment

As needed Monday to Friday occasionally Saturday.

RATE OF PAY

Non-RECE-$18.00 plus $2 Weg

RECE- $18.50 plus $2 Weg

You receive the additional $2 weg only if you are working directly with children.

START DATE

As soon as possible
