Qualifications

- Experience in support worker or frontline human services roles, preferably in recovery, mental health, or residential care settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities to build trust, de-escalate conflict, and work collaboratively with diverse residents and colleagues.




- Knowledge of safeguarding practices, risk awareness, and maintaining professional boundaries in a residential setting.
- Comfort with basic technical support tasks, including using computers or tablets for documentation, scheduling, and online communication.
- Understanding of addiction, recovery principles, and trauma-informed care is an asset.
- Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to remain calm and solution-focused in crisis situations.
- Relevant education in social services, community support, psychology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Current first aid/CPR certification and a clear background check; additional crisis intervention or non-violent intervention training is an advantage.
