Colonial Tool Group, a premier provider of broaching tools, Indexable Cutting Tools and spindle services throughout North America, and is seeking a Surface and ID/ OD Grinder Machinist to join our dedicated team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Has a minimum of 1 year of experience using grinding machines.

· Hold tolerance within .0002”

· Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and work instructions

· Can inspect tooling for necessary dimensional accuracy.

· OD, ID and SG is considered an asset

· Perform routine machine preventative maintenance

· Make machine adjustments to correct dimensional or surface-finish issues





· Must be able to lift over 50 pounds

· Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to work within close tolerances

WORKING CONDITIONS

· Manufacturing and machine-shop environments

· Regular exposure to machinery, Metal particles, and Moderate noise

· Required to wear safety glasses, and safety boots

· Must be able to stand for extended periods at a time.

· Fast paced environment where meeting production schedules and quality standards is essential

Pay: $20.00-$39.00 per hour
