As a Teaching Assistant and mentor with Scholars of Milton, you will be responsible to provide superior individualized academic support to students. You are joining a dynamic team who want you to make a difference for each student who you have the opportunity of working with!

Essential Job Functions

- Instruct / teach students from JK to Gade. 8 for French / English / Math
- Accurately provide reporting regarding student progress as required
- Complete administrative tasks when required
- Prepare teaching materials / student's folders for each student as per the Scholars guideline when required
- Maintain solid communication with parents

Must Have:
- University Graduate (3rd year or above) / Post Graduate degree
- Past English / Math teaching experience for JK to Grade 8 students
- Available: Monday to Thursday from 3 PM to 7 PM and Saturday 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM
- Experience with students in a teaching or tutoring environment
- Robust communication skills and multitasking abilities




- Excellent Customer Service Experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft office or Google Suite of applications
- Effective problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- A professional, enthusiastic, flexible, and energetic demeanor

Nice to Have:
- Ontario certified teacher
- Excellent organizational skills

- Second round In Person Interview

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 to 15 hours per week

Schedule

- Monday to Thursday: 3 PM to 7 PM
- Saturday: 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM
