We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect – Guidewire to lead solution architecture, technical design, development, and delivery of complex Property & Casualty (P&C;) insurance solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Guidewire expertise along with experience leading development teams, working with enterprise architects and business stakeholders, and delivering scalable Guidewire implementations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor Guidewire development teams in a rapid-paced delivery environment.
- Drive solution architecture and technical design for complex Guidewire implementations.
- Prepare architecture and design documents covering field mapping, data definitions, business rules, integrations, and workflows.
- Develop and present Proof of Concepts (POCs) to address complex business and technical requirements.
- Configure, develop, and customize Guidewire components using:
- Gosu
- PCF
- Data Model
- Workflows
- Activities
- Wizards
- Product Designer
- Design and implement complex business rules, transactions, job configurations, LOB implementations, forms, and administration capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter .
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions and workarounds.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, business users, Enterprise Architects, SMEs, and development teams.
- Identify reusable configuration components and architectural patterns to improve productivity and delivery efficiency.
- Lead offshore development teams and coordinate onsite/offshore delivery.




- Monitor project activities, task allocation, status reporting, and technical deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to Guidewire architecture, development, integration, and SDLC best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10–15 years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Guidewire implementation experience .
- Strong experience with one or more of:
- Guidewire PolicyCenter
- Guidewire BillingCenter
- Guidewire ClaimCenter
- Experience across solution design, configuration, extension, customization, integration, and production support .
- Experience with both Guidewire Cloud and On-Premises implementations.
- Strong understanding of P&C; insurance and Commercial Lines of Business.
- Hands-on expertise with Gosu, PCF, Data Model, Workflow, Activities, Wizards, and Product Designer .
- Experience with Guidewire Transactions, Job Configuration, LOB implementation, Forms, Administration, Account & Contact Management .
- Strong understanding of software architecture, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and complex business-rule implementation.
- Experience performing requirements analysis, technical design, application integration, and implementation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading and mentoring development teams.

Preferred / Nice to Have

- Guidewire Integration experience and certification.
- Experience with Integration Gateways, AppEvents, and Autopilot workflows .
- Exposure to Guidewire GenAI capabilities .
- Professional Cloud Integration Developer certification.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Experience creating reusable technical assets and contributing to Guidewire competency development.
