We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to lead technical excellence, product portfolio strategy, and customer success initiatives across our business.

Position Summary

This is a highly visible technical leadership role that combines strategic product portfolio management with hands-on field support. As the Technical Services Manager, you will partner with customers, account managers, operations teams, and innovation partners to develop and implement technical solutions that create measurable value. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable developing long-term product strategies, supporting customer programs in the field, troubleshooting operational challenges, and guiding the commercialization of new products and technologies.

What You'll Do

Technical Leadership & Customer Support

- Serve as the primary technical expert supporting customers and sales teams.
- Conduct field assessments, troubleshooting activities, and program reviews.
- Lead root cause investigations and recommend effective solutions.
- Support implementation and optimization of chemical treatment programs.
- Participate in customer meetings, technical reviews, and operational planning sessions.

Product Strategy & Innovation

- Own and manage the long-term product portfolio strategy.
- Evaluate market trends, customer needs, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings.
- Identify product gaps and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with innovation, manufacturing,



and commercial teams on product development initiatives.
- Support the successful commercialization of new products and services.

Commercial Growth Support

- Partner closely with account managers to drive business growth.
- Lead technical aspects of proposals, bids, and customer presentations.
- Assist with product selection, application design, and technical documentation.
- Build strong customer relationships through technical expertise and proactive problem-solving.

Technical Quality & Operational Excellence

- Establish standards and best practices for technical evaluations and reporting.
- Oversee field trials, testing programs, and performance assessments.
- Drive data-based decision making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure technical recommendations prioritize safety, operational effectiveness, customer value.

Training & Knowledge Development

- Coach and mentor account managers and commercial team members.
- Develop training programs to strengthen technical capabilities.
- Promote knowledge sharing, innovation, and technical excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and industry experience will be considered.

Experience

- 8+ years of progressive experience in technical services, chemical applications, product management, field operations, or related technical leadership roles.
- Experience supporting customers in industrial, energy, oil & gas,



or related sectors.
- Proven success troubleshooting chemical treatment programs and optimizing customer applications.
- Experience leading field trials, technical evaluations, and implementation projects.
- Product portfolio management, product development, or commercialization experience is strongly preferred.

Pay: $110,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
