YOUR MISSION You Will Be Asked To
- Prepare and update tax information used to process the international payroll. Coordinate with the payroll team the tax information related to employee benefits / deductions.
- Participate in the planning of tax forms that individuals must complete for different countries. Follow up with the employees and stakeholders of each Cirque du Soleil show to obtain the required tax forms.
- Complete forms and other compliance declarations (social security certificates, request to reduce tax deductions at source, etc.). Do proper follow ups with the tax authorities.
- Prepare Canadian, US and various tax returns. Carry out follow-ups of notices of assessments and other requests for information with the tax authorities.
- Perform quality control, complete assembly,
ensure coordination and administrative follow-ups relating to tax returns and other compliance declarations.
- Assist tax advisors with their duties.
YOUR UNIQUE EXPERTISEWe want to meet you if you have:
- A college diploma with program in administration, accounting, or similar area of study.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Basic knowledge of Canadian taxation. Basic knowledge of payroll, an asset.
- Experience with the preparation of personal Canadian tax returns, an asset.
- Ability to be rigorous and attentive to detail;
- Positive priority management and respect deadlines for deliverables;
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and Word;
- Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written; fluent in a third language an asset.
