Mia Montessori Academy, a Recognised School as part of AMI Canada’s Montessori Quality Assurance Program, is seeking an AMI Elementary guide to join our team from September 2027. Located in beautiful Steveston, British Columbia (a suburb of Vancouver), Mia offers Primary and Elementary programs.

Our Elementary class consists of 30 students, aged 6 – 12, across both lower and upper elementary.

To be considered for a position, applicants must have:

- AMI Elementary diploma
- University degree and eligible for BC Independent School Teacher Certification
- Experience working with a group of students across lower and upper elementary
- Current First Aid certification is a benefit
- French or Spanish language capabilities is an asset

- Able to lead a class of students




- A steadfast commitment and understanding of AMI principles and standards
- A devotion to serving the child
- Deliver engaging education experiences to the parent community that foster home and school partnership
- Maintain record-keeping and planning systems
- Maintain relationships with the parent community and lead parent/teacher interviews
