Job Summary
Septodont is seeking a strategic and impact‑driven Director, Global Analytics and Processes to play a critical leadership role within the global Finance organization. Reporting directly to the VP Finance, Group FP&A; and indirectly to the Senior Vice President, Finance, the Director will be a key architect of how financial insight, discipline and governance support executive decision‑making and long‑term value creation.
Responsibilities
- Own the evolution of the monthly management reporting and board reporting packages; develop advanced analytics and performance insights; set global standards and governance for core finance processes including budgeting, strategic planning and capital expenditure (CAPEX).
- Lead high‑impact finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on simplification, automation and cost efficiency across global finance processes.
- Design, develop and continuously enhance the monthly management reporting package and board reporting materials, ensuring clarity, consistency and decision relevance.
- Partner closely with the SVP Finance and the broader finance team to elevate the quality of financial insights, storytelling and performance commentary.
- Develop advanced analytics, including KPI frameworks, trend analysis, scenario modelling and business performance drivers across functions and geographies.
- Ensure financial reporting and analytics are aligned with enterprise strategy and support both short‑term performance management and long‑term decision‑making.
- Own and govern core global finance processes: annual budget and latest estimate processes; strategic planning and multi‑year financial outlook; standardisation and efficiency through the CAPEX process; equity investment planning, governance and post‑investment tracking.
- Define clear process standards, timelines,
accountabilities and governance models across regions; drive consistency and discipline while allowing appropriate flexibility for local business needs.
- Continuously assess process effectiveness and maturity against best practices.
- Identify, prioritise and lead process improvement and simplification initiatives across finance (FP&A;, reporting, planning, cost management).
- Champion automation and digital solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of financial processes and analytics.
- Translate strategic objectives into clearly scoped, measurable improvement projects with tangible outcomes.
- Act as a change leader and role model for a modern, insight‑driven finance function; embed analytics and financial discipline into business decision‑making through cross‑functional collaboration (Operations, Commercial, IT and other stakeholders).
- Provide thought leadership, coaching and influence across the global finance community, without relying on direct hierarchical authority.
- Support the development of finance capabilities, analytics literacy and process discipline across the organisation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field. MBA or CPA is highly desirable.
- 6+ years of experience in finance operations, project management or related roles.
- Demonstrated experience in leading finance transformation projects or process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in financial systems, such as ERP software and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and driving organisational change.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to influence stakeholders and foster collaboration.
- Passion for innovation, process optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Strategic mindset, with a focus on aligning financial initiatives with broader business objectives.
- Extensive experience in finance leadership roles with strong exposure to FP&A;, management reporting, analytics and finance process governance.
- Proven track record of elevating executive and board‑level reporting and translating complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
- Demonstrated success leading finance transformation, process optimisation and automation initiatives with measurable impact.
- Advanced analytical capabilities and strong understanding of financial systems, data and reporting tools.
- Good understanding of IFRS principles and experience with SAP/4 HANA is an asset.

Compensation
Starting at approximately $140,000.00 CAD, with opportunity for increase based on qualifications and experience. Total rewards include comprehensive perks, bonus eligibility and professional development support.
