About us:

Infrapro Communications Ltd. is a growing telecommunications contractor specializing in underground and aerial fibre optic construction. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team and grow with our company.

Position:

This is a hands-on position that combines telecom labour with operating and towing our trailer-mounted Hydrovac unit. You will work alongside experienced crews installing fibre optic infrastructure for residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with underground fibre optic installations
- Operate and tow a trailer-mounter Hydrovac unit using a Ford F-550
- Driving safely and professionally, obeying all traffic rules at all times.
- Perform hand digging, trenching, conduit installation and site cleanup
- Assist with utility locating and exposing underground utilities
- Complete daily vehicle and equipment inspections
- Remediating Landscaping sites
- Follow company safety procedures and WorkSafe BC requirements




- Maintain a qualified attitude with customers and coworkers

Requirements:

- Minimum Heavy Trailer Endorsement (Code 20) or equivalent required
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Comfortable towing heavy trailers
- Physically fit and reliable
- Have a working cell phone to use job software app
- Ability to work aloft on extension ladders or step ladders
- Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work in confined space and at elevation
- Fluent in English (reading, writing and conversational)
- Telecom, construction, or Hydrovac experience is an asset; training available

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
