Role Overview:
Reporting to the VP of Sales, Women’s, the (TEMP) Sales Manager will directly manage Canadian majors and key specialty accounts for FRAME’s Women’s and Men’s RTW & denim businesses. This role will have one direct report.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all selling-related aspects of FRAME’s RTW and Denim women’s and men’s businesses, including but not limited to:
-weekly selling reporting and recaps for all business partners -recapping topline business to upper management
-executing seasonal market logistics and spearheading market appointments
-cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with buying teams
-strategically identifying areas of growth including acquiring new accounts, brainstorming creative ways to drive in-store and in-season business, etc.
-spearheading distribution and product strategies within existing businesses and new ones
-overseeing off price business opportunities
- Responsible for overseeing all logistics and execution of seasonal markets and meeting deadlines on receiving orders and entering projections.
- Review selling, target opportunities, and creative ways to drive continued revenue and business in season.
- Monitor brand sales trends across Canada to provide analytics in support of brand initiatives.
- Manage and implement in-season opportunities including but not limited to injections, re-cuts, margin builder packages, and core addition/substitution.
- Working closely with Customer service on order entry and order tracking, including checking for accuracy and ensuring PO’s are in-system and tracked for timely shipping.
- Partner with the planning team to demonstrate in-depth analytical and strategic abilities to target quarterly and annual revenue expectations,
seasonal up-front goals and in-season dilution budgets.
- Partner with VP of sales to ensure alignment and brand direction is consistent across domestic & international business
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years Canada sales experience within the premium denim or contemporary product categories
- Strong and established relationships with the Canada Major Accounts and the Independent doors.
- Must have experience and relationships with contemporary divisions at major department stores in the Canada and Independent Boutiques
- Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Word.
- Knowledge in excel, JOOR
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to follow up
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Creative thinker and business driver
- Travel four times a year to Toronto and Western Canada for Market.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting while working at a computer and reviewing reports
- Standing and walking during market appointments, showroom presentations, and client meetings
- Regular domestic and international travel, including air and ground transportation
- Lifting and carrying product samples, garments, and materials up to 25 pounds
- Assisting with showroom setup, including arranging racks and merchandise
- Use of standard office equipment, including a computer, phone, and other communication tools
- Clear communication in person, over the phone, and via electronic means
