We are looking for a highly motivated Truck & Trailer Parts Advisor who will be responsible in identifying and obtaining all parts necessary for technicians to conduct an effective and efficient operations in the service department.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for developing an effective and organized system to transfer and manage orders.
- Manage and maintain inventory regularly through cycle counts, to ensure all stock levels are accurate on the system.
- Research the market price range for parts and conduct assessments on used, new surplus and aftermarket solutions.
- Coordinate with team members and suppliers to fill parts needed and to stock for future use.




- Use an inventory tracking software program to look up and track inventory.
- Keep records of purchase and receipts and update the files accordingly.
- Assemble containers and crates in the parts area and to keep the area clean and organized.

Requirements:

- Experience in the truck industry, rental or automotive industry is an asset.
- Mechanically inclined with thorough knowledge of automotive and truck parts
- and attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting (up to 50lbs).
- Solid interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and troubleshooting skills.
- Solid attention to details and organizational skills
- Good work ethic and ability to prioritize and multi tasks.
- Ability and desire to work in a positive, fast paced environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based software
- Good oral and written communication skills with all the levels of the company
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
