We're looking for highly skilled, safety-focused Underground Welders with a primary focus on structural and maintenance welding for work in Rocanville, SK. If you have 3-5 years of underground welding experience, connect with us today!

Responsibilities will include:

- Perform high-quality structural welding on steel supports, liners, and other critical infrastructure components underground.
- Conduct maintenance and repair welding on heavy underground mining equipment, conveyors, chutes, and material handling systems.
- Interpret and work accurately from engineering drawings, blueprints, and weld specifications.
- Conduct pre-operational checks and routine minor maintenance on welding equipment and ensure safe operation.
- Assisting with fabrication tasks and material preparation (cutting, grinding, fitting).
- Strictly adhering to all company and project safety policies, procedures,



and permitting requirements.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including the welding area and equipment cabs.
- Communicating effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other personnel regarding daily tasks, equipment status, and any encountered issues.
- Assisting with other general underground support or labouring duties as project needs dictate.

Requirements:

- Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as per client requirements.
- Current CWB SMAW All Position Ticket.
- Journey Person Welder Certificate is considered an asset.
- General Mine Safety Awareness certification.
- WHMIS (current within three years).
- Fall Protection.
- 3-5 years of proven experience as an Underground Welder, preferably within a potash or hard-rock mining setting.
