Position Summary From approximately 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you'll support daily warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, order picking and inventory movement. Once customer orders have been finalized, you'll transition into route planning responsibilities,
preparing delivery routes for the following day using routing software such as WorkWave, Sage Routing or similar platforms. You'll play an important role in ensuring efficient delivery sequencing, customer service and overall operational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and verify incoming product
- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely
- Receive, stock and organize warehouse inventory
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and food safety standards
- Prepare next-day delivery routes
- Assign customer stops across approximately 14 delivery routes
- Optimize route sequencing and customer delivery windows
- Communicate routing information with operations and delivery teams
- Perform additional warehouse duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous routing or dispatch experience is required
- Experience using WorkWave, Sage Routing or similar software strongly preferred
- Valid forklift certification
- Warehouse experience
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with raw meat products and refrigerated environments
- Ability to safely lift 30+ lbs
Working Environment This position operates within refrigerated warehouse environments and requires regular standing, walking,
lifting and material handling. Candidates must be comfortable working around raw meat products and in temperatures ranging from approximately 5°C to -20°C depending on the work area.
