MODERN WELDING LTD is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, blueprint reading, and the safe operation of related equipment.

The Welder will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and precision of our products, supporting construction, ductwork, and manufacturing projects across diverse industries.

Duties/Qualifications

- Good communication skills.
- Positive attitude.
- 2nd Year, 3rd Year or Journeyman Required
- Shop repair work and fabrication, heavy equipment repairs and modification experience preferred.
- Mobile rig welding and mobile field service jobs
- Experience operating heavy equipment and fork lifts is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in MIG welding and TIG welding techniques with a strong focus on quality workmanship
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes, machinery operation, and assembly techniques
- Experience with hand tools, power tools,



and schematics reading
- Ability to interpret blueprints accurately for fabrication and assembly tasks
- Familiarity with machining operations using calipers, basic math skills for measurements, and schematics comprehension
- Understanding of construction standards and ductwork fabrication processes
- Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
