Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and assembling metal components using various welding techniques. Your expertise will ensure the production of durable, high-quality parts that meet strict specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Knowledge of arc, mig and tig welding is a benefit
- Understand the use of gas welding; oxygen and acetylene
- Familiar welding with stick electrodes
- Responsible for proper heating and cooling parts that need welding
- Work with a variety of metal materials
- Maintain a clean and secure workplace and make sure all equipment is kept in good working order
- Set up and load parts at work station in a timely and safe manner
- Ability to work as part of team
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine welding requirements




- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with machinery or assemblies involving ductwork or other fabricated parts
- Ensure all welding work complies with safety protocols, quality standards, and manufacturing specifications

Skills

- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques with a strong understanding of welding codes and safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining, assembly, and ductwork fabrication
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment

The role is a full-time permanent, Monday to Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm role. Opportunity and when required overtime on Saturdays Must provide own safety shoes.

After 3 months, will be provided with a uniform. Opportunity for dental and health care.

Wages are based on experience.
