The South Asian Community Mental Health (SACMH) organization is dedicated to improving mental health awareness and access for the South Asian community. We aim to bridge cultural gaps in mental health services through education, advocacy, and community outreach.

Role Overview

We are seeking a volunteer with knowledge of eCommerce to join our team for a 1-year term with potential for renewal. This role is ideal for someone passionate about web development, interested in gaining experience with a non-profit organization, and committed to our mission of promoting mental health within South Asian communities. Their responsibilities will centre around a clothing line with all proceeds going towards scholarships for South Asian post-secondary students.

Commitment

On average 2 hours weekly

Responsibilities Include

- Establish and maintain our WordPress website e-commerce functionality
- Upload apparel to the online shop
- Assist in incorporating print on demand functionality
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure website security
