Join Recent Directions as a Case Manager dedicated to empowering youth in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This full-time position supports individuals transitioning to independence through skill development and community integration. In this role, you will guide youth within the Youth Supported Independent Living Program.
Your focus will be on essential life skills, advocacy, and coordinating resources across various supports. Flexibility in scheduling and engagement with families and communities are vital components of this position. Key Responsibilities:
- Support youth in managing their transition to independence
- Coordinate services and identify necessary resources
- Foster connections between youth and their families
- Lead multi-disciplinary meetings for collaboration
- Handle crisis situations with developed protocols Requirements:
- B.S.W./B.A. or equivalent in social services
- 5 years’ experience in child welfare
- Relationship building and performance management skills
- Availability for evening and weekend work
