Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, during regular Group Office business hours

Compensation: $55,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications

The Jim Pattison Auto Group is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to support hiring initiatives across our dealership network. This is an excellent prospect for someone who enjoys connecting with people, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to the growth of a dynamic organization.

Reporting to the Manager, Recruitment & Onboarding, you'll play an important role in attracting talented candidates, coordinating recruitment activities, and delivering a positive hiring experience from initial application through onboarding.

What You’ll Do

As Recruitment Coordinator, you'll oversee recruitment activities and provide support throughout the hiring process. Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and publishing job postings across various recruitment platforms.
- Reviewing applications and identifying qualified candidates.
- Conducting initial candidate screenings and phone interviews.




- Scheduling interviews and acting as the primary point of contact throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinating reference checks, background checks, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Assisting with new hire onboarding and ensuring documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintaining applicant tracking systems and recruitment records.
- Partnering with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and recruitment priorities.
- Supporting recruitment initiatives that promote an excellent candidate experience.
- Staying informed on employment legislation, recruitment trends, and hiring best practices to ensure compliant and effective recruitment processes.

What You Bring

The successful candidate will have:

- A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a similar HR role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional, approachable, and service-oriented attitude.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and recruitment technology.
- Solid knowledge of recruitment practices and applicable employment legislation.
- High attention to detail and strong administrative skills.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

The following are considered assets:

- Automotive industry recruitment experience.
- A CPHR designation or active progress toward obtaining one.
