Bayshore HealthCare seeks a passionate and caring Occupational Therapist for our Transitional Care Units in the Greater Toronto Area. Full‑time position with day shifts Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and establish, evaluate, and revise treatment programs, including goals and discharge plans.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario standards.
- Document assessment results, goals, treatment progress, and discharge plans.
- Collaborate with health team members.
- Communicate pertinent information and recommendations to clients and care providers, and provide education on treatment strategies.
- Observe and guide others involved in the OT program.
- Maintain active standing with the College of Occupational Therapists.
- Participate in ongoing internal and external education activities.
- Adhere to Bayshore policies and procedures.
- Engage in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in health and safety activities; notify the supervisor of any risks.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information.
- Complete other tasks as requested.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or recognized equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- Preference for 3+ years of OT service experience.
- Experience with clinical patient assessments and treatments; knowledge of medical/legal report writing is an asset.

- Robust oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to handle difficult situations objectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
- Proficiency with personal computers and secure e‑mail.
- Commitment to continual learning.
- Valid driver’s license.
