Job Title: Collection Agent / Customer Service Representative IV

Location: Gatineau, QC (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract - Possible Extension

Pay Rate: CAD $27-29/hr on T4

Bilingual - French/English

Responsibilities

- Contact customers regarding outstanding account balances.
- Negotiate payment arrangements while providing professional customer service.
- Respond to customer inquiries.
- Monitor customer accounts for outstanding commitments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records.
- Work closely with colleagues on matters related to non-payment, fraud, accounts transferred to collection agencies, and other collections activities.
- Apply collection policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Perform other related credit and collections duties.

Required Qualifications

- Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Solution-oriented and resourceful.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively.




- Team player with skilled work ethic.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of accounts receivable collections experience is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of collection rules, access to information legislation, and privacy regulations is considered an asset.

Work Schedule

- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Hybrid Schedule:
- Onsite: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
- Remote: Wednesday, Friday
