Role Description The Clinical Research Lead is a full-time hybrid role based in Markham, ON, with flexibility for some work from home. This role oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of clinical research studies, ensuring adherence to protocols, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. Day-to-day tasks include designing study methodologies, preparing research documentation, managing participant recruitment, and monitoring data collection and quality, data analysis and medical writing. The Clinical Research Lead collaborates with investigators, clinicians, and external partners, while providing guidance to research staff and supporting grant proposals, publications, and presentations. The role also involves tracking project timelines, budgets,



and milestones to ensure successful study completion.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in clinical research methods, study design, and evidence-based practice.
- Knowledge of regulatory and ethical requirements, including GCP, informed consent, and data privacy regulations.
- Experience with data management, statistical analysis, and interpretation of research findings.
- Skilled in project management, including timeline planning, resource coordination, and budget oversight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for protocols, reports, publications, and presentations.
- Ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary research teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple concurrent studies.
- Master’s degree or higher in a health-related field (e.g., Clinical Research, Epidemiology, Public Health, Medicine, Nursing) or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with common office and research software (e.g., MS Office, electronic data capture systems, literature databases).
- Strong academic publication history
