Join us and contribute to building a more inclusive future.The RoleGrizzlyTrek is seeking one Dozer Operator to join our valued client's team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a full-time, long-term position on a 14 days on, 7 days off rotation, with an immediate start for the right operator.You will run crawler dozers on stripping, spreading, road building, and reclamation work in the Fort McMurray region. This is steady, year-round work with a defined rotation and a long-term project schedule, not a short-term call out.What You'll DoOperate crawler dozers for stripping, spreading, grading, and reclamation workPush and spread overburden, muskeg, sand, and clay to design gradeBuild and maintain haul roads, ramps, laydown areas,



and bermsCut slopes and finish grade to survey stakes or GPS machine controlSupport excavator and shovel faces and keep working areas clean and drainedComplete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and equipment logsPerform winter work including snow clearing, frost stripping, and road maintenanceCommunicate by radio with haul truck, water truck, and ground crewsParticipate in toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and field level risk assessmentsWhat You BringMinimum 3 years dozer experience, D8 class or larger preferred for mine workValid Class 5 driver's licence and reliable transportationCSTS-2020 or CSTS-09 and Standard First Aid, or willingness to obtain before startAbility to work a 14 days on, 7 days off rotation on 12 hour shiftsAbility to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol testComfortable working outdoors in all Alberta weather conditionsStrong safety record and willingness to follow all site specific proceduresPreferred QualificationsLarge dozer experience on D10 or D11 class machinesExperience with GPS or machine control grading systemsPrevious oil sands site experience north of Fort McMurrayCommon Safety Orientation (CSO) and regional site orientations already in placeH2S Alive and Ground Disturbance Level 2Winter road, ice road, or frost stripping experienceWork EnvironmentActive industrial and mine site workplace with continuous heavy equipment trafficOutdoor work in extreme cold, heat, dust, and variable ground conditionsFull personal protective equipment required at all times, including fire retardant clothingSite access requires pre-access testing and site specific orientationWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation based on experience and qualificationsOpportunities for overtime based on operational requirementsLife insurance: $100,000 employee / $10,000 spouse / $5,000 per childAD&D insurance with critical illness and cancer coverageExtended health care: drugs, hospital, hearing, orthotics, nursingParamedical services: chiro, physio, massage, mental health (annual coverage)Vision care: glasses, contacts, laser surgery, and examsDental care: 80% basic ($2,500), 50% major ($2,500), $2,500 ortho for childrenTravel insurance: up to $5,000,000 per incident (trips up to 90 days)Ongoing training and career development support#J-18808-Ljbffr
