Join The Bridge as a Recovery Care Worker supporting our addiction programs at night. Ensure the safety and emotional well-being of participants within a dedicated team environment.
This role at The Bridge Youth & Family Services focuses on creating a protected and clean environment for our program participants. Recovery Care Workers will work part-time nocturnal shifts, delivering client-centered services and demonstrating excellent time management and crisis management skills. A diploma in Human Services or related field is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor participant well-being during overnight shifts
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in program homes
• Support participants during recovery processes
• Collaborate with team members on care plans
• Engage in effective crisis management as needed
Requirements:
• Diploma in Human Services or similar
• Six months of relevant experience
• Valid Food Safe Certificate preferred
• Criminal Record Search in compliance
• COVID-19 vaccination documentation required
Support individuals' recovery journeys as part of The Bridge team in the Okanagan.
