What you'll do
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers and network equipment to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, implementing solutions to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Manage cloud services and virtualized environments, ensuring they are properly configured and maintained.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various IT projects, providing infrastructure expertise and guidance.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Implement security protocols and best practices to safeguard sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct regular system audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Provide technical support and training to staff members, helping them utilize IT resources effectively.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution, ensuring business continuity in the event of system failures.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for upgrades and enhancements.
- Assist in budget planning for IT infrastructure projects and manage resources effectively to stay within financial constraints.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for process optimization and efficiency gains.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in infrastructure administration or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of server operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux distributions.
- Proficiency in network protocols, firewalls, and VPNs, with hands‑on experience in network configuration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including experience in managing cloud resources.
- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V, is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation of routine tasks.

- Familiarity with database management systems and backup solutions.
