Overview:
On behalf of our healthcare client, TEEMA is recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst for a long term contract. Our client is undertaking a major healthcare transformation initiative focused on implementing a unified, integrated Clinical Information System (CIS). We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, and implementation readiness across clinical and technical environments. The successful candidate will work closely with clinical stakeholders, technical teams, project leaders, business owners, and vendors.
Candidates must be based in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities across large-scale healthcare transformation and CIS initiatives.
- Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and technical requirements through workshops, interviews, workflows, and use cases.
- Work directly with clinical stakeholders to understand workflows, system requirements, impacts, and dependencies.
- Conduct current-state assessments, gap analysis, impact assessments, and support solution design.
- Develop functional and technical documentation, including workflows, integration requirements, readiness assessments, and implementation materials.
- Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to coordinate application changes, manage risks/dependencies, and support successful CIS implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related discipline; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- 5+ years of experience leading business analysis activities on large-scale healthcare and/or government transformation initiatives.
- 3+ years of experience working directly with clinical stakeholders and 3+ years working with enterprise Clinical Information Systems (CIS).
- Strong experience with requirements elicitation, stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, business process analysis, gap analysis, use cases, workflows, and solution design.
- Experience with clinical and operational downstream applications and their workflows, interfaces, data exchanges, and dependencies.
- Solid communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clinical, technical, executive, and non-technical stakeholders. French/English bilingualism and certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or CSM are assets.
