What you'll do
- Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring that products meet both customer needs and business objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements and prioritize product features based on customer feedback and market research.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, enabling informed decision-making for product direction.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic vision and customer demands.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including customers, engineers, and executives, to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the product development process.
- Create detailed product specifications and user stories to guide the development team in building features that enhance user experience.
- Monitor product performance post-launch, utilizing analytics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement and feature enhancements.
- Organize and lead product demos and training sessions for internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective product adoption.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate product updates, timelines, and roadblocks effectively.
- Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging team brainstorming sessions and exploring new technologies that can enhance product offerings.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies that effectively promote new product features and enhancements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that Springfinancial remains a leader in the fintech space.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the financial technology sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing the full product lifecycle from concept to launch.
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making and product performance analysis.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills,
with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
Nice to have
- Experience working with financial products or services, particularly in areas such as lending, payments, or personal finance.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and experience working closely with design teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance issues in the financial services industry.
- Previous experience in a startup environment or a rapidly growing company.
- Certification in product management or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
